PLEASE KEEP MASON IN YOUR PRAYERS — A FAMILY IS FIGHTING FOR A MIRACLE

No parent ever expects a normal day to become the beginning of the hardest battle of their life.

Mason was a healthy, energetic child who loved playing football and enjoying every moment of being a kid. But one day, after walking off the football field, he looked at his mom, Christine, and quietly said:

“Mom… I need a nap.”

Those simple words would become a moment his family would never forget.

At first, they thought he was just tired. But soon, Mason’s life began to change. High fevers came. Then vomiting. Painful sores made it difficult for him to eat or even smile.

After countless doctor visits and frightening uncertainty, the family received the news no parent should ever have to hear:

Mason had Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

In an instant, childhood became hospital rooms, treatments, and long days filled with fear and hope.

But Mason showed everyone what courage looks like.

He faced chemotherapy with incredible strength. He fought through the pain. And after months of treatment, his family finally heard the words they had been praying for:

Remission.

For a moment, there was hope. There were dreams of returning to normal life, of football games, laughter, and watching Mason grow up.

Then, six months later, their world was shaken again.

The leukemia returned.

A clinical trial that once brought hope stopped working, leaving Mason’s family searching for another chance.

With no time to waste, they traveled to Houston, where Mason is now receiving care at MD Anderson Cancer Center, hoping a new clinical trial can open a door that seemed impossible to find.

Today, Mason’s family isn’t asking for much.
