13-YEAR-OLD DIMITRI DOURAVERAS MISSING — POLICE FEAR FOR HIS WELFARE

An urgent search is underway for 13-year-old Dimitri Doulaveras, who has been reported missing from Sydney’s south-west.

Dimitri was last seen at a residence in Narwee at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from the Campsie Police Area Command began investigating his whereabouts.

Police say they hold concerns for his welfare because of his age.

COULD HE BE TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

Police say Dimitri is known to use public transport and is known to frequent several areas:

Sydney CBD
Newcastle
Wollongong

That means investigators are asking people across a wide area to keep an eye out for him.

WHAT DIMITRI WAS WEARING

Police describe Dimitri as:

• 13 years old
• Approximately 160cm tall
• Thin build
• Caucasian appearance
• Blonde afro-style hair

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with green writing, cream-coloured Nike pants and black shoes.

ONE SIGHTING COULD MATTER

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Dimitri since Wednesday evening to come forward.

A sighting at a train station.

A passenger who remembers seeing him.

A person who noticed him walking through a busy area.

Even a seemingly insignificant detail could help investigators establish where he went after he was last seen.

DIMITRI IS ONLY 13 — AND POLICE ARE CONCERNED FOR HIS WELFARE.
