Five People Killed in Michigan Shooting Spree as Suspect Found Dead After Manhunt

A shooting spree across multiple locations in Michigan left five people dead and prompted a massive manhunt for the suspected gunman.

Authorities identified the suspect as 39-year-old Chad Hickman. After the shootings, Hickman reportedly fled the area, leading police to launch an extensive search.

Investigators later found Hickman dead in a wooded area near Whitlock Lake, alongside another victim. His death brought the total number of fatalities to six, including the five alleged victims and the suspect.

A 13-year-old girl was also shot but survived. According to authorities, her 911 call helped investigators identify Hickman as the suspected perpetrator.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shootings and are working to determine what led to the violence.
