LITTLE JACKSON’S BASEBALL SCAR TELLS A POWERFUL STORY OF SURVIVAL AND HOPE FOR ONE DEVOTED FAMILY

When five-month-old Jackson Lane was born, his family faced an agonizing health crisis. The infant was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, an extremely complex congenital heart defect. Rather than viewing the mark with sorrow, his father, Andy Lane, lovingly began referring to it as Jackson’s “baseball scar” because the fine surgical marks closely resemble the distinctive red stitching found on a regulation baseball.
