TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A routine workday turned into an unimaginable tragedy for a young Idaho family when 27-year-old Seth Vaughn was involved in a fatal industrial accident at a gravel pit Wednesday afternoon.

Twin Falls County deputies and members of the Rock Creek Fire Department were dispatched at approximately 4:20 p.m. Sept. 2 to a gravel pit located at 2950 North 3500 East.

According to authorities, Vaughn became caught in a conveyor belt while working at the site. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.

A YOUNG HUSBAND AND FATHER

Vaughn’s passing has left behind his wife, Gentry, and their two young daughters.
