Two Drivers Face Murder Charges After Fatal Victorville Street-Racing Crash That Killed Two Teen Girls

A deadly crash in Victorville, California, has resulted in murder charges against two drivers after two teenage girls were killed in a multi-vehicle collision.

The accident occurred on the evening of August 14, 2026, at the intersection of Ridgecrest Road and Elmwood Drive. Seventeen-year-old Maddalyn Dailey and 16-year-old Isabell Hill were killed after the Acura they were traveling in was struck by two other vehicles.

Authorities allege that Terry Lamar Easter, 50, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro at speeds reaching 117 mph—approximately 188 km/h—while participating in a street race.

Following the crash, Easter allegedly fled the scene. Prosecutors said he left behind his injured 8-year-old child inside the vehicle. The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the child’s age.

Easter later turned himself in to authorities on August 26 and was arrested. His bail was set at $1 million.

On August 28, prosecutors formally charged Easter with two counts of murder, along with charges related to child abuse and engaging in a street race. Easter has pleaded not guilty.

Second Driver Also Charged With Murder

The case took another major turn on September 2, when George Gary Sanchez, 49, the alleged driver of a Dodge Charger involved in the collision, was also charged.

Sanchez faces two counts of second-degree murder and one count of engaging in a street race.

The new charges mean that both drivers are now facing murder counts in connection with the deaths of Dailey and Hill.

Prosecutors will have to establish the circumstances surrounding the street race, the speeds involved, and each driver’s role in the fatal collision as the case moves forward.

Upcoming Court Hearings

Easter’s next court appearance is scheduled for September 8 for a pre-trial hearing, followed by a preliminary hearing on September 10, 2026.

The proceedings are expected to shed more light on the allegations and the evidence prosecutors have gathered against the defendants.

Easter has pleaded not guilty, and the charges against both men remain allegations unless and until proven in court.
