NEWLYWED VANISHES WITHOUT HIS PHONE, WALLET OR CAR — NOW HIS HEARTBROKEN WIFE IS BEGGING HIM TO COME HOME
Dominick Bianchi had married his wife just months ago. Then, on a Tuesday morning in upstate New York, he disappeared — leaving behind nearly everything he would normally need to get anywhere.
A desperate search is underway for 35-year-old Dominick Bianchi, a newlywed from East Greenbush, New York, after he vanished from his home earlier this week.
Bianchi was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, September 8, at his home on Forrest Pointe Drive, according to police. Authorities say he left without his cellphone, wallet or car.
His disappearance has left his wife, Julianna Zyra, pleading publicly for him to come home.
“If you’re seeing this, please, come home,” Zyra said during an emotional interview.
“THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOU”
Zyra revealed that her husband had been struggling with his mental health for some time.
She urged people online to stop spreading speculation about what might have happened, emphasizing that Bianchi is unwell and may not be in the right state of mind.
“Whatever it is that’s going on, there are so many people who care about you,” she said.
“I know you feel really alone, but there are people who want to help you.”
Then came the detail that has intensified the urgency of the search.
Bianchi has Type 1 diabetes.
His wife said his continuous glucose monitor is paired with the cellphone he left at home, raising concerns about whether he has access to the equipment he needs to monitor his condition. His family is also worried that he may not have insulin with him.
HE LEFT WITHOUT HIS CAR
Police believe Bianchi left the home on foot.
His cellphone, wallet and vehicle were all left behind — unusual circumstances that have prompted authorities to ask residents throughout the area to help search for him.
The East Greenbush Police Department has asked people to check their properties, sheds, vehicles, trail cameras and home-security footage for anything that could help establish where Bianchi went.
Police have said they do not suspect foul play but believe he may need medical attention.
WHAT DOES DOMINICK LOOK LIKE?
Bianchi is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, with blue-green eyes, brown hair and a beard.
He has several distinctive tattoos, including:
- A skull and roses on his chest
- A baseball on his right arm
- A cross on his back
Police initially described him as wearing black sweatpants, a black long-sleeve shirt and possibly a baseball cap.
However, his wife later said she found those clothes in the laundry, suggesting he may have changed before leaving the house.
A NEWLYWED FAMILY WAITING FOR ANSWERS
Bianchi and Zyra were married only months ago.
Now, instead of building their newlywed life together, Zyra is waiting for any sign that her husband is safe.
Her message to him has remained simple:
Please come home.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen Bianchi or captured him on surveillance footage to contact the East Greenbush Police Department at 518-479-2525.
As the search continues, his family is asking the public to focus on finding him rather than spreading unverified theories.
A NEWLYWED LEFT HOME ON FOOT. HIS PHONE, WALLET AND CAR NEVER WENT WITH HIM. NOW HIS WIFE IS WAITING FOR ONE THING — TO SEE HIM WALK BACK THROUGH THE DOOR.
