SIR TOM JONES IS LEAVING THE VOICE UK AFTER 13 YEARS — ITV ANNOUNCES SHOCK NEW LINE-UP

After 13 years in the famous red chair, Sir Tom Jones is leaving The Voice UK — as ITV unveils a completely revamped line-up for the next series.

The legendary Welsh singer will not return for Series 15, bringing an extraordinary chapter of the hit singing competition to an end.

The announcement came as ITV revealed a major shake-up that will see Aitch and Cheryl make their debuts as coaches, alongside the returning Kelly Rowland and will.i.am.

For longtime viewers, however, the biggest surprise is the absence of the man who has become one of the show’s most recognisable faces.

Sir Tom Jones has been part of The Voice UK for much of its history, becoming synonymous with the show’s iconic red chairs.

ITV described him as an “irreplaceable” part of the programme and thanked him for the years of memorable moments he had given both viewers and contestants.

The broadcaster said Tom had brought “joy” to audiences and to the singers who performed for and alongside him.

His departure means the next series will look dramatically different from the current one.

For Series 15, Aitch and Cheryl will join the coaching panel for the first time.

They will sit alongside Kelly Rowland, who is returning for a second series, and will.i.am, one of the show’s longest-serving coaches.

The new line-up marks a significant change after ITV previously confirmed Tom, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones would return for Series 14, with Kelly Rowland joining them.

The change also comes with new hosts.

Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon will take over presenting duties for Series 15.

‘THE VOICE UK’ WILL NEVER LOOK THE SAME

For fans who have watched Tom Jones turn his chair for aspiring singers year after year, his absence is likely to be one of the most noticeable changes in the show’s history.

Tom has previously spoken warmly about his time on The Voice, describing how much he enjoyed discovering new voices and helping performers find their own sound.

Now, after more than a decade in the famous red chair, that era is coming to an end.

ITV has not described the change as a dismissal and has not publicly stated that Tom wanted to leave or was forced out. Instead, the broadcaster has presented Series 15 as a brand-new line-up and thanked him for his contribution.

A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS IN 2027

The current series continues on ITV, while the revamped Series 15 is scheduled to air in 2027.

Whether the new coaching panel can capture the same chemistry that made the previous line-up so popular remains to be seen.

But one thing is already certain:

The next time the red chairs turn, one familiar face will be missing.

After 13 years, Sir Tom Jones’ Voice UK era is officially coming to an end.
