“PLEASE COME HOME”: MOTHER MAKES HEARTBREAKING PLEA FOR MISSING GIRL, 13, AS POLICE SEARCH FOR CLUES AFTER SIX DAYS

The mother of a 13-year-old British girl who has been missing for nearly a week has made an emotional public appeal for her daughter to come home safely.

Lillia Lloyd Walton, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, was reported missing after she was last seen at her home at around 8 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) launched an investigation after Lillia failed to return home.

Her disappearance has now prompted an urgent search across the area, with officers appealing to members of the public who may have seen her or captured her movements on CCTV or doorbell cameras.

LAST CONFIRMED SIGHTING AT TRAFFORD CENTRE

The latest confirmed sighting of Lillia came the following day, Saturday, September 12.

According to police, security footage showed the teenager at the Trafford Centre at approximately 1:50 p.m.

Investigators believe she then boarded the 247 bus traveling toward Altrincham.

However, police do not currently know how long Lillia remained on the bus or exactly where she got off.

That has left investigators trying to establish her movements after she boarded the service.

Chief Superintendent Helen Critchley said police were particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was traveling on the bus around that time and may remember seeing Lillia.

Police are also asking residents and businesses to check CCTV, Ring doorbell recordings and other security footage that could potentially show Lillia or provide information about where she went.

HER MOTHER’S HEARTBREAKING MESSAGE

As the search continued, Lillia’s mother, Jessica, made a direct emotional appeal to her daughter.

Her message was read publicly by police during a press conference.

“Lill, I love you so so much,” Jessica said.

“My heart is breaking without you here. I need to know you are safe. We all need you back home safe and well.”

Police also delivered a message specifically intended for Lillia in case she sees the appeal.

Chief Superintendent Critchley said:

“Lillia, if you see this appeal please know your family love you, miss you and just want to know that you are safe. You are not in any trouble. They simply want you to come home.”

The message was intended to reassure the teenager that her family simply wants to know that she is safe and bring her home.

WHAT LILLIA LOOKS LIKE

Police have released details of Lillia’s appearance to help members of the public identify her.

She is described as a slim white girl, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with long light-brown hair.

She normally wears clear-frame glasses.

At the time of the latest confirmed sighting, she was wearing a black zip-up hooded jacket, light-blue wide-leg/baggy jeans and carrying a black Nike backpack.

These details are being circulated as officers continue to appeal for information.

POLICE SAY THE SEARCH IS CONTINUING

GMP said officers have been conducting extensive inquiries since Lillia was reported missing.

Investigators are examining available CCTV and other information in an effort to establish her movements after she was seen at the Trafford Centre.

Police are also appealing to anyone who has had contact or conversations with Lillia since she was reported missing to come forward.

Authorities stressed that even information that may appear insignificant could potentially help investigators piece together her movements.

Chief Superintendent Critchley said officers were continuing to work “tirelessly” to locate the teenager.

FAMILY WAITING FOR HER TO COME HOME

For Lillia’s family, the uncertainty has been devastating.

Almost a week has passed since she was last seen at home, and her mother is now publicly asking her daughter for just one thing — to let them know she is safe.

Her mother’s message was deliberately simple and personal:

“Please come home.”

Police have not publicly provided an explanation for why Lillia left home or what happened after she boarded the bus.

At this stage, investigators are focused on establishing her whereabouts and ensuring that she is found safely.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Lillia, traveled on the 247 bus around the relevant time, has CCTV or doorbell footage that could assist the investigation, or has had contact with her since September 11 is urged to contact Greater Manchester Police.
