😱 NO CHARGES. NO CRIMINAL FINDING. BUT THE QUESTIONS AROUND NOLAN WELLS AREN’T OVER.

A Mississippi grand jury has cleared the people who were with Nolan Wells during the July 4 trip to Horn Island.

After reviewing witness testimony, phone records, GPS data, videos and other evidence, the grand jury returned a unanimous “no true bill” — meaning no one was indicted.

The finding also said there was no credible evidence of criminal conduct connected to the people who traveled to or from the island with Nolan.

And it directly addressed one of the biggest claims that spread across social media:

The grand jury found no evidence that Nolan’s death was racially motivated.

But the story did not simply end there.

Nolan’s family continues to question what happened to the 18-year-old after he remained on Horn Island.

His family’s attorneys have pointed to injuries found on his body and the fact that both the state medical examiner and an independent pathologist did not definitively determine the cause and manner of death.

That has left two very different reactions online.

Some people say the grand jury findings finally clear Nolan’s friends after months of speculation.

Others are asking why important questions surrounding Nolan’s final hours remain unanswered.

And that is where the case stands today:

The grand jury found no criminal conduct.

The family says more questions remain.

The investigation can also be revisited if credible new evidence emerges.
