🚨 THE SEARCH FOR THREE-YEAR-OLD NOAH WOODS HAS ENDED IN HEARTBREAK.

For more than 24 hours, an entire community refused to stop looking for a little boy.

Police searched.

Firefighters searched.

Specialist teams searched.

And around 1,300 members of the public joined them, walking through Brantham, checking paths, fields and surrounding areas — all hoping for the same thing:

To bring Noah home safely.

Noah had disappeared after visiting the playground at Merriam Close.

He was believed to have run down an alleyway toward a new housing development and nearby Decoy Pond.

Then, on Wednesday afternoon, specialist divers entered the pond.

What they found was the news everyone had been praying would never come.

A child’s body was recovered from the water.

Police later formally confirmed that the child was three-year-old Noah Woods.

For the volunteers who had spent hours searching, the moment was devastating.

People who had arrived from nearby communities — and even from farther away — had joined the desperate effort to find a child they had never met.

They searched because Noah was someone’s little boy.

Someone’s grandson.

Someone’s whole world.

And now the village that had been filled with search teams and hope has been filled with flowers, tears and silence.

Noah’s family has asked for privacy as they face an unimaginable loss.

Police have said Noah’s death is not being treated as suspicious, although enquiries remain ongoing before a report is submitted to the Coroner.
