NEWLYWED VANISHES WITHOUT HIS PHONE, WALLET OR CAR — NOW HIS HEARTBROKEN WIFE IS BEGGING HIM TO COME HOME
“IF YOU’RE SEEING THIS, PLEASE, COME HOME.”
A newlywed has disappeared from his Upstate New York home, leaving his family desperate for answers — and his wife making an emotional public plea directly to him.
Dominick Bianchi, 35, of East Greenbush, New York, was last seen on Tuesday morning, September 8, at his home on Forrest Pointe Drive, according to police. Investigators say he is believed to have left on foot.
But what has alarmed his family is what he left behind.
His cellphone, wallet and vehicle were still at home. Police have said they do not believe he disappeared under suspicious circumstances, but they are concerned he may need medical attention.
And there is another urgent concern.
Bianchi has Type 1 diabetes, and his wife, Julianna Zyra, said his continuous glucose monitor is connected to the phone he left behind. His family is worried he may not have access to the medical equipment or insulin he needs.
“IF YOU’RE SEEING THIS, PLEASE, COME HOME”
Zyra, who married Bianchi just months ago, became visibly emotional while speaking publicly about her missing husband.
She said he has been struggling with his mental health for some time and urged people not to spread rumors or speculate about what may have happened.
Instead, she wanted one message to reach him.
“Whatever it is that’s going on, there are so many people who care about you.”
She continued by telling her husband that he is not alone and that people want to help him.
Then came her heartbreaking plea:
“If you’re seeing this, please, come home.”
POLICE ASK THE PUBLIC TO CHECK EVERYWHERE
East Greenbush police are asking residents to look closely at their surroundings, including properties, sheds, vehicles, trail cameras and home surveillance footage.
Bianchi is described as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, with blue-green eyes, brown hair and a beard.
He has several distinctive tattoos:
- A skull and roses tattoo on his chest
- A baseball tattoo on his right arm
- A cross tattoo on his back
Police initially described him as wearing black sweatpants, a black long-sleeve shirt and possibly a baseball cap.
However, his wife later said she found the clothing at home, raising the possibility that he changed clothes before leaving.
A FAMILY WAITING FOR HIM TO WALK BACK THROUGH THE DOOR
There is currently no indication from authorities that Bianchi’s disappearance involved suspicious circumstances.
But for his newlywed wife, the uncertainty is unbearable.
A man who left home without his phone, wallet or car has now become the focus of a growing search — while the person who knows him best is asking him to simply come home.
Anyone who may have seen Dominick Bianchi or has information about where he could be is urged to contact the East Greenbush Police Department at 518-479-2525.
For now, his wife is not asking for explanations.
She is asking for one thing:
COME HOME, DOMINICK.
