THREE TIMES THE BLESSING: A ROUTINE SCAN TURNS INTO TRIPLETS

What began as a routine pregnancy check became an unforgettable moment for 26-year-old Nyoaka Lindo when doctors revealed she was carrying not one baby, but three. Lindo was around three months pregnant with what she believed was her second child when she went for an ultrasound to confirm her due date. During the scan, the technician first spotted two babies and then suddenly discovered a third, leaving Lindo overwhelmed and her partner, Clevone Nicholson, equally stunned.

On February 22, the couple welcomed three healthy baby girls: Kamaya, Katalia, and Kahlia Nicholson. Since their arrival, family life has changed dramatically. Lindo shares that the babies go through around 30 diapers a day, while feeding three newborns often requires hands-on support from several family members at once. “If one wakes up, the others usually wake up too,” she explained, describing the endless cycle of feeding, bathing, and settling the girls.

Nicholson has stepped up to play an active role, particularly during demanding, sleepless nights. Although twins run in his family, becoming the father of triplets was an entirely unexpected journey. He acknowledges that raising three newborns simultaneously brings significant financial and emotional challenges, yet his main focus remains ensuring his daughters grow up feeling safe, supported, and loved. The arrival of Kamaya, Katalia, and Kahlia has transformed everyday life into a constant flurry of bottles and diapers, but also three times the joy.
