A 14-year-old girl has been missing for nearly a week, prompting an urgent appeal from police as they release new CCTV images in the hope of finding her. Officers are increasingly concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who may have seen her to come forward.
Police in Derbyshire, England, are urgently searching for a teenage girl named Libby, who disappeared after being seen in Buxton on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
The teenager was last spotted in the Hartington Street area at around 5pm, after earlier being seen at a McDonald’s restaurant in the town.

She is originally from the Barnstaple area of Devon.
Investigators believe she may have travelled towards Leek, in Staffordshire, and are asking people in both areas to remain alert.
