Britney Spears drove recklessly before being caught

Singer Britney Spears was found to be driving erratically and speeding before being arrested for violating the alcohol content on the evening of March 4.

According to Page Six, the police coordination recording shows the singer’s erratic driving. In the recording, an officer announced: “A black BMW was driving back and forth between lanes and speeding. The 2026 BMW convertible has just left Los Angeles.”

Officers then followed the vehicle and signaled to stop. “Talking to the driver,” another officer said over the radio. “The driver got out of the car.”

A source from TMZ said Britney Spears She was alone when police stopped her car at around 9:30 p.m. in Westlake Village, not far from the singer’s home. After that, the police took her to the hospital to take a blood sample to determine the alcohol concentration.

After leaving the hospital, Spears was taken to the Ventura County Jail for procedures Arrest at around 3 am on Thursday. The singer was released at around 6 am on the same day and is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.

Although police have not released the official results of the alcohol content test (BAC), sources said Spears told those around her that her reading was 0.06. Meanwhile, the legal limit in California is 0.08%. However, a person can still be charged with an alcohol violation if the police record erratic driving.

Responding to the incident, Spears’ manager Cade Hudson said: “This is an unfortunate and completely inexcusable incident. Britney will take the right steps and comply with the law. Hopefully this is the beginning of the necessary changes in her life. We hope that she will receive the help and support she needs during this difficult period.”

Hudson added that Spears’ two sons will spend time with her, while the family and close people are working together to build a long-prepared plan to help the singer stabilize her health and life.

The arrest came months after Spears was caught Driving erratically after leaving Red-O restaurant in Thousand Oaks, October 2025. A witness said Spears “almost hit his friend” in the parking lot. Then on her way home, she repeatedly changed lanes, followed another car and even ran into the bike lane.
