Carlsbad Security Guard Arrested After Viral Video Shows Alleged Point-Blank Taser Incident

A California security guard has been arrested after a disturbing video circulated widely on social media, appearing to show him firing a Taser directly into a man’s face from point-blank range during an altercation outside a popular nightlife venue.

The incident occurred on the evening of June 24 outside Park 101 in Carlsbad, where large crowds had gathered for a soccer watch party. The footage has sparked widespread debate over the use of force by private security personnel.

A security guard at a popular Carlsbad sports bar was arrested after allegedly firing a stun gun at a patron at close range during a World Cup watch party.

Video Captures Violent Confrontation
