Yungblud Reveals He Injured His Leg in a Dirt Bike Accident but Will Keep Touring: ‘Let’s Ride’

Yungblud may have gotten injured, but that’s not stopping him from taking the stage.

The U.K.-born musician, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, revealed he hurt his leg in a dirt bike accident two hours before his Aug. 9 show at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, per fan-captured TikTok footage.

“I’m not gonna be able to hop around and f—ing shake my ass like I normally do,” Yungblud, 29, told the crowd, before grabbing a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey and drinking from it. “However, I’m gonna keep drinking this Jack.”

Meanwhile, fan-captured Facebook footage featured the “Zombie” singer on his dirt bike before the gig.

Yungblud posted about his injury in an Instagram post on Sunday, Aug. 16.

“Leg f—ed. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of). Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be f—ing mad. See you next week. Let’s ride,” he captioned the post.

Yungblud also shared an image of him with crutches sitting on two kegs in a hip-to-toe compression wrap, as well as a close-up of his crutches and injured leg.

Last month, Yungblud “reluctantly” pulled out of Cowboys Music Festival in Canada on July 12.

“To all my family in Canada I apologize for not being there with you all this weekend — I’m currently in a place where I’m working on myself and taking time off at home in the UK,” he said in a social media statement, per Rolling Stone.

Added Yungblud: “I’m taking this extremely seriously and facing head on what’s going on for the good of the long term. I will never take any of this for granted and I will see you all soon. I love you all.”

Yungblud is set to perform at the Vilar de Mouros Festival in Portugal on Tuesday, Aug. 18 and the Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium on Friday, Aug. 21.
