Wisconsin High School Football Player Adam Massman Dies Two Days After Game Injury

Adam Massman, 17, a high school football player from Alma Center, Wisconsin, has died two days after being injured during a game.

Massman played quarterback and defensive back for the Alma Center Lincoln High School Lincoln Hornets. He was injured during a game against Turtle Lake on the evening of August 20, 2026.

Emergency personnel responded on the field and transported Massman to a hospital for treatment. He died on August 22, according to information provided by his family and school community.
