BREAKING: JURY UNANIMOUSLY RECOMMENDS DEATH PENALTY FOR JENNIFER ODOM’S KILLER — 33 YEARS AFTER HER MURDER

Jennifer disappeared on February 19, 1993, after getting off her school bus in Pasco County, Florida.

Days later, her body was discovered in a wooded area in neighboring Hernando County.

For decades, the case remained unsolved.

Then, in 2023, investigators arrested Jeffrey Crum after DNA evidence linked him to Jennifer’s disappearance.

More than 30 years after Jennifer vanished, her family finally heard the word they had been waiting for:

GUILTY.

Crum was convicted last week of first-degree murder, kidnapping and sexual battery following a four-day trial.

But the case was not finished.

The same jury returned to determine whether Crum should spend the rest of his life in prison or face execution.

After hearing emotional testimony and arguments from both sides, jurors deliberated for approximately two hours and 15 minutes.

The judge will still make the final sentencing decision. A Spencer hearing is scheduled for October 21, where the defense can present additional mitigating evidence and arguments for leniency.
