A HEARTFELT REMEMBRANCE: THE REMARKABLE JOURNEY OF LILEEANN JEAN BAKER

Lileeann Jean Baker entered the world much sooner than expected, arriving at just 26 weeks and four days. From her very first breath, she demonstrated a profound spirit of determination and courage. Facing an arduous medical road, she fought bravely each day, inspiring everyone who surrounded her with her quiet strength and unwavering will.

Though her time with her loved ones was brief, Lileeann communicated an abundance of warmth and affection without ever speaking a single word. Her precious smiles, gentle eye contact, and the tender way her tiny fingers wrapped around her family’s hands created deeply cherished memories. Every moment spent with her brought comfort, joy, and hope to those who held her dear.

On July 17, 2026, Lileeann peacefully passed away at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by her devoted parents, Terri Smith and Jason Baker; her loving grandparents, Kevin and Tina Baker, and Pamela Smith; her sister, Stephanie Wardell; and her brother, Shawn Baker. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Timothy Smith.

Family and friends gathered on August 3 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, to celebrate her extraordinary life before laying her to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan. Though her journey on earth was far too short, the profound love and everlasting impact Lileeann left on the hearts of her family will endure forever. Her brave spirit remains a shining beacon of courage, reminding everyone of the priceless beauty found in every precious moment of life.
