A TER regional train carrying 186 passengers derailed near Cléon, France, leaving 44 people injured and prompting a major emergency response.

The train was traveling on the Rouen–Caen route when it derailed near Cléon. Four carriages left the tracks, while one of them overturned during the incident.

Among those injured was an 18-year-old woman who suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Rouen University Hospital for treatment. Her condition was later reported to have improved and was no longer considered life-threatening.
