WILL.I.AM REPORTEDLY FURIOUS OVER TOM JONES EXIT — ‘THE VOICE UK’ FACES BACKSTAGE TENSION AS NEW SERIES BEGINS

The long-running coach is gone after 13 seasons — and reports claim his exit has left tensions simmering behind the scenes.

The new era of The Voice UK was supposed to bring a fresh lineup, new energy and a major television comeback for Cheryl.

Instead, reports suggest filming has begun under a cloud of tension following the sudden departure of legendary coach Sir Tom Jones.

According to reports, longtime coach will.i.am has been deeply unhappy with the way Tom’s exit was handled — and has made his feelings known behind the scenes.

A MAJOR SHAKE-UP

ITV has officially confirmed the coaching lineup for Series 15, which will air in 2027.

will.i.am and Kelly Rowland will return, while Cheryl and rapper Aitch will join them as new coaches.

The show will also have a new presenting team, with Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon replacing Emma Willis.

ITV described the changes as a brand-new lineup and thanked Tom Jones for his years on the programme, saying he had given audiences and contestants “countless incredible and unforgettable moments.”

But Tom’s departure has proved far more controversial than a normal cast reshuffle.

TOM JONES DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE

Tom, 86, revealed that he had been dropped from his full-time coaching role after 13 seasons.

The music legend said ITV had cited financial difficulties connected to insurance.
