🙏 MORE THAN 3 MONTHS LATER, XAVIER’S FAMILY IS STILL HOLDING ON TO HOPE

More than three months have passed since 12-year-old Xavier Taylor was struck in the neck by a baseball during warmups.

He collapsed.

He suffered cardiac arrest.

And his family has spent every day since then beside his hospital bed, praying and waiting for the moment they can hear his voice again.

Now, Xavier’s mother, Mai-Lin DosReis-Taylor, is sharing a message that goes beyond her own son.

She says the outpouring of love has been overwhelming — strangers wearing No. 6, baseball bats appearing outside homes, vigils being held, and people around the world stopping to pray for a child they may have never met.

And she believes Xavier’s journey is bringing people together for something bigger.

On September 19, from 5–7 p.m. ET, Xavier’s family is inviting churches, families and individuals everywhere to join a Night of Prayer & Praise.

The main gathering will take place in Maple Shade, New Jersey, while people around the world can also participate from home through Zoom or conference calls.

For Xavier’s father, Gregory, what he misses most isn’t the baseball.

It’s the little things.

The conversations.

The laughter.

The arguments.

The noise.

The joyful chaos that once filled their home.

His parents continue to hold onto the hope that Xavier will wake up and that his brain and body will heal.

And this time, their prayer is bigger than Xavier.

They are asking people to pray for every hospitalized child.

For every parent sitting beside a hospital bed.

For every family waiting for a miracle.

For everyone who needs hope when the waiting feels impossibly long.

On September 19, thousands of people may gather in different places, but they will be carrying the same prayer:

Keep believing.
