Three-year-old Noah Woods vanished in broad daylight.

For more than 24 hours, an entire community searched desperately for the missing toddler — until specialist divers entered Decoy Pond and recovered a child’s body.

Police have now confirmed the devastating identity:

It was Noah.

The three-year-old disappeared at around 2:37 p.m. on September 15 after becoming separated from a relative following a visit to a playground in Brantham, Suffolk.

CCTV showed Noah running down an alleyway before disappearing from sight.

What followed was a massive search involving police officers, specialist teams, search dogs, helicopters, firefighters, coastguard crews, volunteers and Metropolitan Police divers.

Around 1,300 members of the public joined the operation.

They searched through streets, fields and surrounding areas, hoping each new sighting could lead to Noah being brought home alive.

Instead, the search ended at Decoy Pond.

Suffolk Constabulary says Noah’s death is not being treated as suspicious, but the circumstances remain unexplained and further enquiries are continuing for the coroner.

His father, Rhys Woods, described Noah as “the sweetest and most innocent little boy.”

Flowers, toys and messages are now being left at the playground where Noah was last seen.
