MOTHER AND THREE CHILDREN DIE IN BOOTLE HOUSE FIRE AS FAMILY PAYS HEARTBREAKING TRIBUTE

A family has been left devastated after a mother and her three children died following a house fire in Bootle, Merseyside.

Elisha Brabin, 36, died alongside her children Leo, 16, Ellis, 8, and Prudence, 7, after a blaze broke out at their home on Stone Square in the early hours of Tuesday, September 22.

The four victims were named publicly the following day as relatives released an emotional tribute describing Elisha as a devoted mother who “lived for her children.”

FOUR LIVES LOST IN THE EARLY-MORNING FIRE

Emergency services were called to the semi-detached property at around 3:38 a.m.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service arrived approximately seven minutes later, with six fire engines eventually attending the scene.

Eight firefighters entered the property to search for occupants and tackle what was described as an intense fire that spread rapidly.

Another person was rescued from outside the property with burns and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Despite the emergency response, four people were unable to survive.

FAMILY RELEASES HEARTBREAKING TRIBUTE

On Wednesday, Elisha’s family released a statement remembering all four victims.

They described Elisha as a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin.

Most poignantly, they said she was a “devoted and loving mother” who lived for her children and that they were “her whole world.”

The family also remembered Leo, Ellis and Prudence with profound affection, describing the three children as deeply loved and saying they had brought “joy, happiness and love” into the family’s lives.

Their statement continued:

“The tragic loss of Elisha and our three precious children has left us heartbroken.”

The family has asked for privacy while relatives try to come to terms with the tragedy and support one another.

COMMUNITY LEFT IN SHOCK

The deaths have sent shockwaves through Bootle, with neighbours and members of the local community expressing their condolences.

Emergency crews remained at the scene as investigators began working to establish exactly what happened.
