She just pleaded not guilty to 19 counts of child endangerment. Plus a separate case involving another minor who was in her care in 2022. Serious felony charges. A competency evaluation still pending.

But people weren’t just watching the charges.

They were watching her stomach.

A reporter asked her attorney, Thomas Stolly, point-blank: Is she pregnant?

His answer: “I can’t address that at this time.”

Then he dropped something even heavier.

Siders was married at 15. She has been pregnant for most of the last two decades. Sixteen to eighteen children. Almost no real postpartum recovery. Almost no proper medical care. Her 16 children, ages 20 months to 18 years, remain in state custody.

They were found living in what authorities called a “house of horrors.” Confined for years inside a 12-by-12-foot room covered in feces. No school. Some couldn’t speak. The oldest couldn’t even spell her own name. Officers described them as “almost feral.”

Siders keeps asking to see them.

Her bond is now $550,000. She is barred from contacting her husband and the alleged victims.

The case was already one of the most disturbing in the country.
