🚨💙 THEY WERE TOLD TO KEEP HOPING — AND XAVIER’S FAMILY NEVER STOPPED

On May 26, 12-year-old Xavier Taylor was simply warming up for a baseball game when one terrible moment changed everything.

A baseball struck him, and the young Maple Shade athlete suffered a catastrophic medical emergency on the field. He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where his family faced a reality no parent ever wants to imagine.

But Greg Taylor and his family refused to let the worst moment define Xavier’s story.

For months, they have stayed beside him, sharing updates and asking supporters across the country to keep praying.

And now, there are signs that give his family reason to keep believing.

Xavier remains on a ventilator and his recovery is still a long road. But his father recently said Xavier has gained weight, is regulating his own body temperature, no longer needs extra electrolyte fluids, and is receiving only necessary nutrition and nutrients. His family says his laboratory results have been encouraging.

Greg Taylor has continued to speak about his son with hope.

He remembers the boy who loves baseball — the pitcher and shortstop who wore No. 6 — and believes Xavier is still fighting his way back.

Meanwhile, the community that rallied around him from the beginning has never disappeared.

Hundreds gathered for prayer after the accident. Youth baseball players across the country wore Xavier’s number, communities organized fundraisers, and Major League Baseball figures sent messages of support.

For Xavier’s family, this is no longer about one terrible day on a baseball field.

It is about every day that came after.

Every prayer.

Every small sign of progress.

Every reason to believe there may still be more chapters left in Xavier’s story.

đź’™ KEEP FIGHTING, XAVIER.

His family is still hoping — and an entire community is still standing with him.
