North Wales Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision.

A 39-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and subsequently released under investigation. That does not mean he has been charged or found responsible.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area around Mill Road and Pen y Bryn Road at approximately 5 p.m. on October 1 to come forward, particularly if they have CCTV, doorbell-camera or dashcam footage.

Officers have also asked the public to avoid speculation while enquiries continue.
