“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6” — THE HEARTBREAKING STORY OF HARRISON’S FINAL BIKE RIDE

“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6” — THE HEARTBREAKING STORY OF HARRISON’S FINAL BIKE RIDE

He was only six years old. After asking his parents if he could go for a bike ride after dinner, Harrison Glynne Jones was involved in a collision near his family home in North Wales. Now, his loved ones are asking people to remember the happy, lively little boy behind the heartbreaking headlines.

LLANFAIRFECHAN, WALES — For Harrison’s family, October 1, 2026, began like an ordinary day. By the end of the evening, their lives had changed forever.

Harrison, just six, was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit tipper van on Mill Road in Llanfairfechan, Conwy, shortly after 5 p.m. Emergency services attended, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a fundraising appeal organised by a relative, Harrison had asked his parents if he could go for a bike ride after dinner. What should have been a simple childhood moment has become an especially painful memory for those who loved him.

For Harrison’s family, he was far more than the child at the centre of a police investigation.

His relatives described him as a “cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room.” They said he was loved more deeply than words could ever express.

Harrison was a beloved son and brother. His parents and sisters are now facing the unimaginable task of learning to live without the lively little boy who was part of their everyday lives.

His family wants people to remember his personality, the happiness he brought to those around him and the ordinary moments that made him special — not only the circumstances surrounding his final bike ride.

A COMMUNITY RALLIES AROUND HIS FAMILY

Following Harrison’s death, a fundraising campaign was established to help his parents through the difficult weeks and months ahead.

The appeal says donations will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, rent, household bills, food and other essential costs while the family takes time away from work to grieve.

The response has brought support from people touched by the family’s loss. Although financial contributions cannot ease the grief of losing a child, they can help relieve some of the practical pressures while Harrison’s loved ones focus on saying goodbye.

North Wales Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Police said a 39-year-old man who was driving the van was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and later released under investigation while enquiries continued. An arrest does not establish responsibility for the incident.

Investigators appealed for witnesses and anyone with potentially relevant CCTV, doorbell-camera or dashcam footage from the area around Mill Road and Pen y Bryn Road at approximately 5 p.m. on October 1.

The circumstances of the collision remain under investigation, and the public has been urged not to speculate about what happened.

“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6”

Those words, shared by Harrison’s family, capture the love they will always carry for him.

At six years old, there should have been more birthdays, more family adventures, more laughter with his sisters and countless ordinary evenings still to come.

Instead, his parents and family are left holding on to the memories of the little boy whose personality could brighten a room.

Harrison’s life was tragically short, but his family’s tribute makes one thing clear: he will always be remembered as their much-loved son and brother, not simply as the child at the centre of a news story.

As the investigation continues, his loved ones hope that people will remember the happy little boy they knew and loved.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever 6.
