“SHE WAS ONLY THREE YEARS OLD” — FAMILY DEVASTATED AFTER LITTLE ELLIZA DIES IN TRAGIC FACTORY ACCIDENT
Elliza Ramos Salvador was just three when she was fatally struck by a forklift at a biscuit factory in southern Brazil. Her family rushed to get her medical help, but the little girl could not be saved.
A family in Brazil is facing an unimaginable loss after a tragic accident claimed the life of three-year-old Elliza Ramos Salvador.
The incident happened at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, at a biscuit factory in Andradas, in the state of Minas Gerais.
According to reports citing local police, Elliza was struck by a forklift being operated by her uncle, who was also one of the factory’s co-owners.
What should have been an ordinary evening ended in heartbreak for a family now grieving the loss of a little girl whose life had only just begun.
A TRAGIC ACCIDENT INSIDE THE FACTORY
Reports said the forklift was being manoeuvred at the end of the working day when Elliza entered its path.
Her uncle reportedly told police that he had not seen the child. A storage rack may have obstructed his view as she emerged from behind it.
When Elliza’s father realised what had happened, he shouted to alert the driver. The forklift was stopped, and relatives immediately tried to help the little girl.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are now being examined by the authorities. No final findings about responsibility have been reported.
HER FAMILY RUSHED TO GET HER HELP
After the incident, Elliza was taken to Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Andradas by family members.
According to information reported by local media, she arrived at approximately 6:45 p.m. in cardiac arrest.
Medical staff attempted to save her, but she could not be revived.
The news left her family devastated. Local reports said officers attempted to speak with her parents, Eduardo and Ana Heloísa, but they were too distressed to provide statements at that time.
No parent should have to endure the loss of a child, and the pain of such a sudden tragedy is difficult to put into words.
AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE CIRCUMSTANCES
Police recorded the incident and arranged for a forensic examination as part of the investigation.
Authorities are expected to establish how the accident happened and examine the circumstances surrounding the child’s presence in the area where the forklift was operating.
At this stage, reports describe a tragic accident, and it would be premature to draw conclusions about legal responsibility before the investigation is complete.
The case also serves as a sobering reminder of the risks posed by heavy machinery in working environments, particularly where children may be able to access operational areas.
A LITTLE GIRL REMEMBERED
Elliza’s funeral took place in Andradas on Wednesday, October 14, according to local reports.
She was only three years old — an age when the world should be full of discovery, play and the simple joys of growing up.
For her family, the days ahead will be filled with the painful reality of learning to live without her.
While investigators work to establish exactly what happened, those closest to Elliza are left to grieve a loss that no family should have to face.
Elliza Ramos Salvador’s life was heartbreakingly short. May her family find strength and support as they navigate this devastating loss.
Please keep her loved ones in your thoughts and share any messages of support with kindness and respect.
