Dog Rescued From UK’s Highest Mountain After Consuming Marijuana

A five-year-old black Labrador named Tokyo was enjoying a trek with her family through the scenic Scottish Highlands. The day started off like any other outdoor adventure — fresh air, beautiful views, and a happy dog exploring the trail. However, near the summit, everything suddenly changed.
Without warning, Tokyo collapsed. She became weak, disoriented, and unable to stand, leaving her owners terrified and unsure of what had gone wrong. Being high up on the mountain made the situation even more serious, as help was not immediately accessible.

After being brought down, Tokyo was rushed to a veterinary clinic. There, vets made a surprising discovery — she had likely ingested cannabis during the hike. It is believed she may have picked it up along the trail without her owners noticing.
Cannabis can be dangerous for dogs, causing symptoms such as confusion, loss of coordination, extreme lethargy, and in severe cases, collapse. Fortunately, thanks to the quick response from rescuers and timely medical care, Tokyo made a full recovery.
