BABY BORN WITH A HEAD OF SNOW-WHITE HAIR LEAVES MOTHER AND FAMILY STUNNED AS RARE CONDITION MAKES HER LOOK LIKE A TINY GRANDMOTHER

A baby born with bright white locks has sent the internet into a frenzy over her striking resemblance to the Game of Thrones character Daenerys.

Devina Smith, from Mississippi, surprised her family when she was born with a beautiful mane of snow-white hair.

Her mother, Jessica Smith, shared photos of the silvery-haired newborn, which quickly attracted thousands of views, with some people even wondering if the images had been edited.
Doctors confirmed Devina’s unusual hair color is linked to partial albinism, a rare inherited condition caused by reduced pigment in the hair, eyes and skin.

The condition affects around five in every 100,000 people in the US and Europe.
Despite her condition, Devina, born May 1, is healthy and only needs regular check-ups for her eyesight.

“I never expected her to have hair like that,” Jessica said. “I didn’t know until she was born. I think it makes her extra special.”

Devina’s unique locks have already attracted attention wherever she goes. One little girl even told Jessica that she looked like a baby doll.

When the family posted her photos online, they were viewed thousands of times, with many people amazed by her naturally white hair.

Jessica said her nine-year-old son was also thrilled and “couldn’t get over her hair either.”
