PATRICK CLANCY SPOTTED WITH NEW WIFE AS EMOTIONAL TRIAL CONTINUES

NEW YORK — As the emotionally charged trial of Lindsay Clancy continues, her former husband, Patrick Clancy, was recently spotted in New York with his new wife, Dr. Rachel Danis.

The couple were seen outside a Manhattan apartment building during a break in the trial. According to reports, both appeared stressed and spent much of the roughly 30-minute encounter on their phones, with Patrick reportedly pacing while taking several calls.

Patrick and Danis married in April 2026, beginning a new chapter in Patrick’s life while the painful legal proceedings surrounding the deaths of his three children continue.

Lindsay Clancy faces three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of her children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan — at the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023.

Clancy also survived a suicide attempt on the same day and sustained catastrophic injuries after falling from a second-story window.

Her defense argues that she was experiencing severe postpartum psychosis and should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Prosecutors dispute that explanation and have argued that the killings were planned, pointing to evidence they say is inconsistent with someone experiencing psychosis at the time.

Patrick has already taken the witness stand and described the devastating discovery that led him to call 911.

Jurors have also heard testimony about Lindsay’s mental state and her alleged claim that a male voice instructed her to kill her children and then herself.

Psychologist Paul Zeizel testified about that account while describing the psychiatric symptoms he believed Lindsay was experiencing.

Yet some of the evidence presented to jurors has focused on ordinary moments from the very day of the tragedy.

Earlier that morning, Patrick and Lindsay exchanged messages about their children’s medical appointment and plans for dinner.

The contrast between those seemingly routine conversations and what prosecutors say happened later has become one of the most haunting elements of the case.

TWO LIVES MOVING FORWARD AMID A PAINFUL TRIAL

Patrick’s appearance with his new wife comes as the courtroom continues to revisit the final days of his children’s lives and Lindsay’s psychological condition.

For the family, the trial is about far more than competing legal arguments. It has forced painful memories back into public view while Patrick attempts to move forward with his life.

The jury must ultimately decide whether Lindsay was legally responsible for her actions and whether the defense’s claims about severe mental illness meet the required legal standard.

Until that decision is reached, the case remains ongoing.

Behind every courtroom argument are three children whose lives ended in January 2023 — and a family still living with the consequences.

Lindsay Clancy is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
