Brooke Hanlon’s Husband Finally Speaks Out Nearly 3 Months After Her Murder

New Jersey Psychotherapist Brooke Hanlon Killed in Home as Husband Speaks Out
Brooke Hanlon, 35, a psychotherapist from Chester, New Jersey, was found stabbed to death inside her home on June 6, 2026.
The medical examiner determined that Hanlon died from multiple sharp-force injuries and ruled her death a homicide.

Her husband, James “Conor” Hanlon, discovered her and called 911 before attempting CPR. Nearly three months later, on August 24, Conor spoke publicly about the tragedy for the first time.
“My heart is totally shattered,” he said while denying any involvement in his wife’s death.
Importantly, Conor Hanlon has not been arrested or charged in connection with the case. Authorities have also not officially identified him as a suspect or person of interest.
No suspect has been publicly announced, and the circumstances surrounding Brooke’s death remain under investigation.

As detectives continue working to determine who was responsible, Brooke’s family and friends are left mourning the loss of a woman remembered for her work helping others as a psychotherapist.
The investigation remains active, and no allegations of wrongdoing against Conor Hanlon have been established.
