21-Year-Old Critically Injured After Falling From Missouri Rooftop Bar

A 21-year-old former University of Missouri student remains in critical condition after falling from the rooftop area of a bar in Columbia, Missouri.

The victim, Corbin Rodenberg, fell from the rooftop area of Harpo’s Bar and Grill on the evening of August 23, 2026.

Rodenberg suffered multiple traumatic brain injuries, fractures, and other severe injuries in the fall. His condition remains critical as he continues to receive medical treatment.

On August 28, his mother, Kaley Rodenberg, said Corbin had undergone a procedure to place an external ventricular drain (EVD). The device is used to drain excess fluid from the brain and help doctors monitor pressure inside the skull.

Columbia police previously confirmed that officers responded to the incident at approximately 9:05 p.m. on August 23.

The circumstances surrounding the fall remain under investigation. Corbin’s family continues to hope for his recovery as he remains hospitalized in critical condition.
