For ten full years, a young boy in Jiangxi, China, carried his best friend to school every single day so that a physical disability would never steal his right to an education.

The extraordinary bond between Zhu Jinxiang and Zhong Huaqiang began when they were just third-graders. Born with cerebral palsy, Zhong faced severe mobility challenges that made attending school nearly impossible on his own. Seeing his classmate struggling to navigate the halls, Zhu stepped forward to help. What started as a simple gesture quickly turned into a ten-year mission. Through elementary, middle, and high school, Zhu physically carried Zhong across school corridors, up steep staircases, and into classrooms, ensuring his friend could learn right alongside everyone else.
