Three months ago, 12-year-old Xavier Taylor stepped onto a baseball field like any other child.
He was surrounded by teammates.
He was surrounded by a game he loved.
And then, in a split second, everything changed.
A baseball accidentally struck Xavier in the neck.
He collapsed.
His heart stopped.
And the 12-year-old boy who went to the field that day has been fighting for his life ever since.
Xavier still has not awakened from his coma.
Three months.
Nearly 90 days of waiting.
Nearly 90 days of hospital rooms, uncertainty, prayers and hoping that the next morning might finally bring a breakthrough.

Strangers hundreds — even thousands — of miles away have paused to pray for a little boy they may never meet.
Think about that for a moment.
Somewhere tonight, a family will sit beside their son.
And somewhere else, a stranger will close their eyes and pray for him.
They may not know Xavier personally.
They may not know his favorite memory.
They may never have heard his laugh.

Not because anyone knows exactly when Xavier’s breakthrough will come.
But because his family should not have to carry this hope alone.
