‘WE HAVE MULTIPLE PATIENTS’: EMERGENCY AUDIO REVEALS CHAOS AFTER AMAZON PLANE CRASH IN MIAMI

Terrifying emergency radio traffic has emerged after an Amazon cargo plane overran a runway at Miami International Airport, crashed into vehicles and erupted into flames — leaving five people dead and five others injured.

Amazon Prime Air Flight 7598, a Boeing 767-300 freighter operated by 21 Air, was landing at Miami International Airport shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday after departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The aircraft failed to stop on the runway, crossed beyond the airport boundary and struck multiple vehicles before coming to rest.

Within minutes, emergency crews were racing toward what officials described as a complex and chaotic scene.

‘MULTIPLE PATIENTS’

Emergency communications captured the scale of the response as firefighters and paramedics rushed to the crash site.

More than 60 emergency units and around 200 responders were sent to the airport as crews battled flames and dealt with a fuel leak.

Several people were trapped, including the aircraft’s pilot and co-pilot, while others were trapped inside vehicles struck by the plane.

The situation quickly became a massive rescue operation.

Firefighters worked to control the blaze while medical teams treated survivors and transported injured people to nearby hospitals.

Authorities later confirmed that five people had died.

Five others were hospitalized, including three who were in critical condition.

THE MOMENT EVERYTHING WENT WRONG

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, Flight 7598 overran the runway while landing at approximately 2 p.m.

The aircraft had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was carrying cargo for Amazon.

After leaving the runway, the Boeing 767 struck vehicles on the ground and caught fire.

The crash sent thick smoke into the sky and forced authorities to temporarily shut down airport operations.

At one point, a full ground stop was issued at Miami International Airport, causing widespread disruption to travelers.

More than 160 flights were reportedly canceled and hundreds more delayed as crews responded to the disaster.

THE BIGGEST QUESTION

As disturbing audio and dramatic footage spread, investigators were left with one central question:

Why couldn’t the Boeing 767 stop?

The answer is not yet known.

The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation, with investigators examining the aircraft, runway conditions, weather and other possible factors.

Thunderstorms and strong winds were reported in the area around the time of the crash, but authorities have not established that weather caused the accident.

Officials have also not publicly identified the five people who died.

A COMMUNITY IN SHOCK

Amazon said it was devastated by the tragedy and pledged to cooperate with investigators.

The aircraft was operated by 21 Air, which flies cargo aircraft for Amazon.

As emergency crews continued working at the airport, families were left waiting for answers about their loved ones.

For Miami, what began as an ordinary Sunday afternoon landing quickly became a deadly disaster.

Five lives were lost.

Five more people were injured.

And now investigators must piece together the final moments of Flight 7598 — and determine what caused the aircraft to leave the runway in the first place.
