GoFundMe for 5-Month-Old Daughter of Times Square Stabbing Victim Erin Piacenti Nears $900,000

GoFundMe for Baby Daughter of Times Square Stabbing Victim Erin Piacenti Surpasses $889,000

A GoFundMe campaign created in memory of Erin Piacenti, a 32-year-old Bank of America vice president who was fatally stabbed in Times Square on August 31, 2026, has raised nearly $890,000 to help secure the future of her five-month-old daughter.

Piacenti was killed in what has been described as a random stabbing on her first day back at work following maternity leave. Her death left behind her husband, Frank Piacenti, and their infant daughter, Madison.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, a fundraiser titled “In Memory of Erin Piacenti: Supporting Madison’s Future” was launched to provide financial support for Madison as she grows up without her mother.

The campaign was organized by Shray Gupta, Frank Piacenti’s brother-in-law. According to the fundraiser’s page, the money raised will be provided to Frank to help care for Madison and support her future.

The official GoFundMe page currently shows approximately $889,945 raised through more than 9,000 donations, with a goal of $1.2 million.

The response from donors has been swift and overwhelming. Reports previously noted the fundraiser climbing beyond $500,000, followed shortly afterward by another surge that pushed the total past $650,000.

Now approaching the $900,000 mark, the campaign reflects the extraordinary outpouring of support for the family following Erin’s death.

For those who knew Erin, the tragedy is especially heartbreaking because she had only just returned to her professional life after spending months away from work caring for her newborn daughter.

Madison, just five months old when her mother was killed, is now at the center of efforts to preserve Erin’s legacy and provide stability for the family in the years ahead.

The fundraiser’s stated purpose is not only to respond to the immediate financial burden created by the tragedy but also to help support Madison’s long-term future.

As thousands of people continue contributing, each donation represents a message of sympathy and support for Frank and his young daughter as they navigate life after an unimaginable loss.

With the campaign’s goal set at $1.2 million, supporters are continuing to rally around Madison and her family in memory of a mother whose life was tragically cut short.
