🚨 NOAH WOODS UPDATE: “MISS YOU SO MUCH” — DAD PAYS HEARTBREAKING TRIBUTE TO HIS “SWEETEST” LITTLE BOY

UPDATE: Noah Woods’ father has spoken publicly after the body of his 3-year-old son was recovered from Decoy Pond in Brantham, Suffolk.

Rhys Woods described Noah as “the sweetest and most innocent little boy, with nothing but love to give.” He said the family is “absolutely heartbroken” and that they will miss Noah “so very much.”

The heartbreaking message came after a desperate search that drew an extraordinary response from the public.

Approximately 1,300 people joined police, emergency crews, specialist search teams and volunteers looking for Noah after he disappeared on September 15.

Then, on September 16, Metropolitan Police dive teams recovered the body of a child from Decoy Pond.

Police formally identified the child as Noah the following day.

“WE WERE JUST TRYING TO BRING HIM HOME”

In his tribute, Rhys thanked the people who came from Brantham and much farther away to search for his son.

He said the outpouring of support had shown how deeply Noah had touched people across the country.

The family had hoped the search would end differently — with Noah being brought home safely.

Instead, they are now mourning their little boy.

Rhys wrote that the compassion shown by strangers had brought the family “comfort and strength” during the darkest time of their lives.

NOAH WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN

Tributes have continued to appear around the playground where Noah was last seen.

Flowers, balloons, toys and Bluey-themed tributes have been left by people wanting to remember the little boy at the center of the search.

The response has now reached far beyond Brantham.

At the Everton–Ipswich Town match on September 19, players wore black armbands and supporters joined a tribute to Noah. His photograph was also displayed on the stadium screen.

A fundraising appeal for his family had also passed £100,000 by Saturday, according to reporting from The Guardian.

WHAT POLICE SAY NOW

Suffolk Police have said Noah’s death is not being treated as suspicious, but officers still have enquiries to complete before submitting a file to the coroner.

That means the investigation is not simply being closed.

But there is currently no public indication that another person is being treated as responsible for Noah’s death.

For his family, the focus is now on mourning and remembering their son.

“YOU WILL BE LOVED FOREVER”

Rhys ended his tribute with a message directly to Noah.

He said his son would be loved forever and never forgotten.

And then:

“We miss you so so much.”

Noah was only three years old.

But in the few days since his disappearance, thousands of strangers searched for him, communities rallied around his family, and people across the country came together hoping for his safe return.

That hope ended in tragedy.

Now, Noah’s family is asking for something different:
