🚨 THEY FLOODED THE McDONALD’S — THEN THE CROWD WENT BEHIND THE COUNTER

A routine Friday night at a Massachusetts McDonald’s turned chaotic when a large group of teenagers poured into the restaurant — and an employee became the target of an attack.

The incident happened Sept. 18 in Lynn after a nearby football game, when a large group of young people reportedly made their way to the McDonald’s on Boston Street.

What happened next was captured on video.

Several people wearing masks and carrying backpacks entered the restaurant. The crowd grew inside, with some individuals moving into areas normally restricted to employees.

Then the situation escalated.

Video shared after the incident appeared to show a McDonald’s worker being attacked behind the counter as people surrounded him and recorded the confrontation.

Police were eventually called to the restaurant. Officers encountered a large crowd, and the group dispersed as police arrived. The employee was reportedly injured but did not require transportation to a hospital.

The videos quickly became an important part of the investigation.

Detectives with the Lynn Police Department’s Youth Services Unit began working to identify those allegedly involved.

Four teenagers were eventually identified and arrested after police obtained warrants.

Because the suspects are juveniles, their identities have not been publicly released.

Police said the four face multiple allegations, including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, trespassing, affray and a civil-rights violation involving injury.

But authorities say the arrests may not be the end of the investigation.

Detectives are continuing to review evidence and identify additional people who may have participated in the disturbance.

The McDonald’s incident was also part of a weekend that saw Lynn police respond to multiple large gatherings involving juveniles, according to local reports.

For the worker behind the counter, none of that began as a police investigation.

It began as an ordinary shift.

Then a crowd entered.

The crowd grew.

And suddenly, the employee was no longer simply serving customers — he was at the center of a violent confrontation.

Four arrests have now been made.
