An Arizona woman is facing a child abuse charge after she was found passed out with her child strapped into a car seat as smoke filled the inside of their home.According to reports from AZFamily, FOX 10 Phoenix and News 12, police in Glendale, Ariz., were called to a home located near the intersection of 67th Avenue and Cholla Street at around 11 p.m. local time on Saturday, Aug. 1.

The 911 caller who reported the incident said that a 2-year-old girl was trapped in her car seat inside the home and that 26-year-old Kallien Mia Heathman was unconscious, the outlets reported.

A 7-year-old boy was also in the home at the time of the incident. The boy alerted his and the girl’s father to the smoke, and the unidentified man called 911, police said.

When responding officers entered the home, they found Heathman unconscious near a couch, according to court documents obtained by the outlets. No other adults were home during the incident.

Police body camera footage of the incident obtained by FOX 10 showed the children’s father standing outside the home before officers carried the non-responsive girl outside, still in her car seat. The girl was barely conscious at the time, multiple outlets reported.

Heathman eventually regained consciousness and became “highly uncooperative” with authorities, court records state.

Investigators at the scene said that burned pizza in a microwave was the source of the smoke. Police also allegedly found an empty liquor bottle and alcoholic drink containers in the home.

At the time of arrest, Heathman had a blood alcohol level of 0.379, which is nearly five times the legal driving limit. She was was too “intoxicated to care for both children,” police alleged in the court records.
