BABY TALA’S 𝖢𝖧𝖨𝖢𝖪𝖤𝖭𝖯𝖮𝖷 TOOK A DANGEROUS TURN AFTER A BACTERIAL INFECTION LEFT HER UNABLE TO EAT OR DRINK

A refugee mother is making an emotional appeal for help after her young daughter, Tala, became seriously unwell following treatment for chickenpox.

Four days after Tala was admitted to hospital with chickenpox, her mother, Sawsan, rushed her back when she developed a high fever. Doctors discovered that the little girl had also developed a bacterial infection.

Since then, Tala’s condition has continued to deteriorate.

Her mother says the infection has caused painful sores and inflammation throughout her daughter’s mouth and throat, leaving Tala unable to breastfeed, eat or drink. She is also struggling to urinate, and her family fears that her condition could become even more serious without urgent medical care.

The family is living in a small tent under extremely difficult conditions, surrounded by insects and cockroaches while also facing the uncertainty of possible displacement. Sawsan believes the insects and the difficulty of maintaining hygiene in such circumstances may have contributed to her daughter’s illness.

“We are living in incredibly difficult conditions, but all I want is for my daughter to get better,” Sawsan said. “Please, anyone who can help us, help Tala receive the care and treatment she needs.”

According to Sawsan, the hospital does not have all the treatment Tala currently requires, while medication available from outside comes at a cost the family cannot afford because of their difficult financial circumstances.

For a mother already struggling to protect her child in an uncertain environment, watching Tala grow weaker has become an unbearable burden.

Sawsan is now appealing to anyone who may be able to help, hoping her daughter can receive the medical attention she urgently needs and have the chance to recover.
