TEXAS — A Texas electrical lineman known to loved ones as “Niko” has died after a workplace accident, leaving behind his wife and two young sons.

Ryne Cooper was working as a high-voltage lineman on August 11 during power-restoration work when the fatal incident occurred. A community tribute says Cooper had spent years working in the electrical industry and was an IBEW member.
