FROM TINY NICU BABIES TO TEENAGERS: OHIO’S FAMOUS SEXTUPLETS CELEBRATE THEIR 16TH BIRTHDAY

Six children, six birthday cakes, and one monumental milestone. Sixteen years after making history as the first sextuplets born in central Ohio, the McGhee siblings—Rozonno Jr., Josiah, Isaac, Madison, Elijah, and Olivia—have officially celebrated their Sweet 16. Born on June 9, 2010, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, these six babies weighed between just one and two pounds at birth and faced months of intensive medical care. Today, the tiny newborns who once captured the hearts of millions on national television have transformed into healthy, thriving teenagers preparing for adulthood.

Their journey began after years of fertility struggles for parents Mia and Rozonno McGhee. When fertility treatments led to a high-risk pregnancy, a team of nearly 50 medical professionals spent months preparing for their delivery. Despite the immense complications of a premature birth, all six infants survived the neonatal intensive care unit and eventually went home. Their early childhood was chronicled on reality shows like Six Little McGhees and Growing Up McGhee, making them household names before they were even seven years old.

Now living in Texas, the family has traded diapers, feeding schedules, and camera crews for the ordinary chaos of high school life. From football practice and homecoming dances to schoolwork, teenage drama, and discussions about driving and college, Mia and Rozonno are navigating a whole new chapter of parenting.
