Mystery Deepens as Missing D.C. Mom Antoinette Forbes Leaves Phone, Car and Dog Behind

Eli Lilly Executive Antoinette Forbes, 53, Reported Critically Missing in Washington, D.C.

Antoinette Forbes, a 53-year-old single mother and external affairs executive at Eli Lilly, has been reported missing in Washington, D.C., prompting an urgent investigation by police and growing concern from her family.

Forbes was last seen on September 4, 2026, in the 3200 block of Nebraska Avenue NW, according to authorities.

Her family says they have serious concerns about her disappearance and do not believe she would have left voluntarily. They are particularly worried because Forbes is the mother of a 10-year-old son and, according to her loved ones, would not have willingly left without him.

Adding to the concern, several of Forbes’ personal belongings and signs of her normal daily routine were reportedly found at her home. Her phone, wallet, keys, handbag, car and dog were all still there.

The front door was also found open.

The Metropolitan Police Department has classified Forbes as a “critically missing person” and is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Her family has also reported that the home is being treated as a crime scene, although authorities have not publicly established that a crime occurred or disclosed what evidence may have been found inside.

The unusual circumstances have heightened concerns for Forbes’ safety as investigators work to determine what happened and where she may be.

Family members are urging anyone who may have seen Forbes or has information about her whereabouts since September 4 to contact authorities.

For now, the investigation remains ongoing, and police have not publicly released further details about the circumstances of her disappearance.
