Katherine McCulloch, 24, and her partner Aaron Tricker, 26, from Ipswich, Suffolk, were initially devastated when doctors warned that natural conception was unlikely. Katherine had been diagnosed with a rare form of pelvic inflammatory disease, which caused significant scarring in her reproductive system and led medical professionals to believe she could be infertile.
