SIR TOM JONES, 86, FORCED TO POSTPONE US CONCERTS AFTER BOUT OF FLU

The legendary Welsh singer apologised to fans after being advised by his doctor to reschedule two performances on his North American tour.

Music legend Sir Tom Jones has been forced to postpone two upcoming US concerts after coming down with what he described as a “bad case of the flu.”

The 86-year-old singer announced the news on social media on October 26, explaining that he had recently completed 20 performances across the United States before unexpectedly becoming unwell.

Following medical advice, Jones made the difficult decision to reschedule his Los Angeles and San Diego shows, disappointing fans who had been looking forward to seeing him perform.

“I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience caused,” the singer said in his message to concertgoers, while expressing his hope of seeing them soon.

TWO CONCERTS GIVEN NEW DATES

The Los Angeles performance, originally scheduled for October 26 at the Greek Theatre, has been moved to November 4.

His San Diego concert at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, originally planned for October 27, is now scheduled for November 3.

Fans who already purchased tickets have been told that their original tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Those unable to attend can contact their original point of purchase to request a refund.
