A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after suffering an injury consistent with a stabbing during a serious assault on the seafront in Eastbourne, England.

Sussex Police said officers were called at around 5.10pm on Sunday, September 20, following a report of a serious assault on Grand Parade, close to the junctions with Elms Avenue and Cavendish Place.

The teenager was found with an injury consistent with a stabbing and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.

Police have not released the boy’s identity or provided further details about his medical condition.
