“NOT EVERYONE KNOWS MY NASTY SIDE” — TIKTOK MOM FOUND DEAD WITH HER THREE CHILDREN AND PARTNER
Cindy Tamez had more than 74,000 followers and often shared glimpses of her glamorous family life. Hours before the devastating discovery, she posted a cryptic message about her “nasty side.”
A disturbing social media post has become one of the final clues surrounding the deaths of a Mexican TikTok influencer, her three young children and her partner.
Cindy Tamez, 34, was found dead alongside her two-year-old son, Gustavo, inside a Jeep in Montemorelos, Mexico, on September 30.
Her two older sons, Bruno, 11, and Christian, 12, were discovered at the family home nearby, along with her partner, Leodegario Moya Garza, 28.
Authorities are now investigating exactly what happened to the family.
THE FINAL POST
Just hours before the family was found, Cindy reportedly uploaded a video from inside a car.
The caption contained a disturbing message:
“Not everyone knows my nasty side.”
She also wrote about being willing to retaliate against people who had wronged her.
Other posts reportedly contained similar messages about revenge, adding another layer of mystery to the investigation.
But authorities have not said that the social media posts directly explain what happened to the family.
FIVE FAMILY MEMBERS FOUND IN TWO LOCATIONS
Cindy and little Gustavo were discovered inside a Jeep in the Los Fresnos area.
Investigators reportedly found a handgun, a mobile phone and a cartridge inside the vehicle.
Several blocks away, officers went to the family residence, where they discovered Bruno, Christian and Leodegario.
Authorities are examining the available evidence, including security camera footage, in an effort to reconstruct the family’s final hours.
A FAMILY THAT LOOKED PERFECT ONLINE
To her more than 74,000 TikTok followers, Cindy appeared to live a glamorous life.
Her videos showed family moments, parties, vehicles and snapshots of everyday life with her three sons.
One photograph showed Cindy dressed in pink alongside her boys, presenting an image of a close-knit family.
Behind that online image, however, investigators are now examining other aspects of her life.
Cindy was reportedly involved in lending money and informal savings schemes, as well as buying, selling and raffling items such as cars, watches, chains and mobile phones.
Prosecutors are investigating whether those activities could have any connection to the tragedy.
THE QUESTION INVESTIGATORS ARE TRYING TO ANSWER
Reports have described the case as a possible murder-suicide, with authorities examining whether Cindy may have been responsible for the deaths before her own.
However, that remains an investigative theory, not a final finding.
Investigators are continuing to examine the firearm, CCTV footage and other evidence before determining what happened.
Neighbours reportedly told authorities they heard loud music coming from the family home during the early hours of Wednesday.
Now, those final hours have become a central part of the investigation.
A FAMILY LEFT BEHIND
Cindy’s social media accounts once showed a mother documenting moments with her children and sharing pieces of a seemingly glamorous lifestyle.
Now, those same posts have become part of a case that has left an entire community searching for answers.
Five members of one family are gone.
And investigators are still working to understand what happened inside the home, inside the Jeep — and during the final hours before the devastating discovery.
